Today, Christianity suffers many problems. In fact it always has, and always will.

The answer to those problems can only  be found in the historical record of the faith’s origins which are explained in the New Testament of the Bible. And by no other means.
Too often the presentation of Christianity is distorted by the wisdom and ways of this world –  wisdom and ways all too often absorbed by Christian believers contrary to God’s wisdom and ways.
A faithful presentation of the living faith of Christianity is made by those God calls and equips for the task. They will focus on – and make continual reference to –   Jesus Christ and the teaching contained in the New Testament of the Bible. They will emphasise the need to live out the lifestyle the Bible teaches.
Christianity is a living faith; and preaching and teaching are ordained by God to nurture that faith and make it flesh just as Jesus Christ, the Word of God, was made  flesh and dwelt among us full of grace and truth.  John’s Gospel 1, 14
That is the purpose of this website. To encourage you to know Jesus Christ and to live your life in obedience to the teaching of Christianity.
Please note that all citations from the Bible are taken from the Authorised Version  first published in 1611 by command of King James I of England, and subsequently published in various formats under Royal Patent by the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, as well as by others.
The Authorised Version of King James was determined by men steeped in the truth of the Bible’s meaning;  men who understood the dread fear of God in transmitting that truth faithfully. That transmission must be faithful because it is solely  by that message we can come to faith in, and continue to live for,  the one Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Such men understood the dreadful task of God’s true servants, the faithful handling of the holy word of God.
Men who not only believed about, but believed in, and therefore acted on, the final words of the Bible they translated:
For I testify to every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book;
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and the things which are written in this book
Revelation chapter 22, verses 18 and 19
Only by taking God seriously, at his word, can we know the reality of his saving grace and presence in our lives. As the Psalmist witnesses in Psalm 25:
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant
